3 High Protein Smoothies For Busy Mornings
Share
Mornings are usually super busy and we don't always find the time to sit down to enjoy our breakfast quietly before starting the day but like our parents and teachers used to say: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So I've come up with 3 healthy high protein smoothie recipes that you can make in 5 mins which will keep you going until your next meal. Not only are they tasty but they are also packed full of vitamins, fibre and will make busy mornings a little easier.

Strawberry Vanilla Protein Smoothie
Sweet, creamy and super easy
Ingredients
- 150g Greek yogurt
- 150g frozen strawberries
- 200ml milk of choice
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup, optional
Approx protein: 20–24g, depending on the milk and yogurt.
Blend everything until smooth. Add a little more milk if you want it thinner.

Chocolate Banana Breakfast Smoothie
More filling and a little more indulgent (for when you're really hungry)
Ingredients
- 1 small frozen banana
- 200ml milk
- 150g Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 tbsp oats
- pinch of cinnamon
Approx protein: 22–27g.
Blend until very smooth. If you want it colder and thicker, add a few ice cubes.

Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake Smoothie
This one is very creamy and delicious and the lemon gives it a slight tanginess.
Ingredients
- 150g Greek yogurt
- 150g frozen blueberries
- 150–200ml milk
- 2 tbsp cottage cheese
- zest of ½ lemon
- 1 tsp honey
- ½ tsp vanilla
Approx protein: 23–27g.
Blend until completely smooth. The cottage cheese disappears into it but makes it extra creamy and adds more protein.
Each recipe gives you a generous serving for 1 person. I know...that's a lot of protein! Enjoy and let me know which one you try first 😊
Here’s to making the everyday feel a little better, one small choice at a time.
